  1. Please tell me why in hell are some of thies animals in jail by now ?
It gives Vancouver a black eye all over the world.
Decent people are given a short time to pay any fines the have been cited for.
Thies punks need a stint in the Army males and female.
Thanks to the Province for the photos. a sad day for the real Canuck fans.

  2. I am on vacation in a small town in Mexico. I was asked where I live, close to Vancouver BC, he said it is a nice clean city. The gentleman said to me the riot was a disgrace to your beautiful city. I agreed all of them should have to pay for what they did. I feel the court cases should be on TV. They deserve everything that is handed out to them.

  3. One of the most exciting days of my life.

  4. By calling these spawns of evil animals gives all animals a bad name. No animal would do this. Two or three of the rioters might even have good parents but that is only my guess.

  5. I have friends in the Army, and they honestly don’t want these criminals in the Forces, thanks. They go in to life or death situations, and you want these hard working men and women to depend on these punks? Geez, thanks!

  6. A lot of good photos here, not just rioters but happy fans, cleanup crew etc. Pity it’s so slow to navigate by hand. I’ll try and post my faves.

  7. Why would the Sun/Province go out of their way to make identification of these punks more difficult for the police? Doesn’t make sense to me. The police aren’t asking the newspapers to ‘spy’ on citizens – they just know the news media had more people on the ground with video and still camera’s than anyone else. Grow up kiddies – help the police punish these punks. Its not a p(((ing contest!!

  8. Sure did catch that polo playing fool by the short and curleys. Let’s see Daddy buy his way out of this one! Excellent court pictures – remember its worth a 1000 words the expensive lawyer can say in a lifetime.

  9. When people come to The Sun or Province with information, they expect us to protect their privacy, not give it to the police. We can’t offer any such protections to whistleblowers if the police can walk in and take our notepads, tape recorders, photos and videos any time it’s convenient for them. If we start sending our materials to the police to aid their investigations here, who will ever trust us enough to open up to us going forward about corruption and criminality, knowing that they could be dragged into court against their will?
